J.W. McDonald Auto Service

189 Bannatyne Avenue has been home to an auto repair shop since the early 1930s. Originally Blackie and Douglas Garage, ownership changed in the 50s when Handfield Motors took over the location. By the mid 60s John McDonald acquired the business and changed the name to J.W. Auto Service. The repair shop is still in operation today, with the original auto service ghost sign repainted in 2014.
